Mrs. Marianna Jara is the manager of the group. This is what she said to our reporters:
‘...sometimes I feel that this singing could be heard in the valley of the River San long, long time ago. It was closely connected with the rhythym of the nature as well as the customs and traditions of this land. The name of our group ‘WIDYMO’ can tell you a lot as in old – Slavic language it means ‘we know’!
       Our songs come from the collection of spring songs, ballads as well as New year’s melodies.
It is said that human voice is the most beautiful voice in the world. We sing a capella and that is why ‘we know’ what and how is played in Słonne Mountains!’
